This class introduces students to basic techniques and poses of aerial silk with an emphasis on strength, flexibility, and body awareness. Geared toward absolute and near beginners, we will work our way from the ground up exploring the many possibilities of dance and fitness with regard to this popular circus art.
Participants should come dressed in clothing that hugs the skin and covers knees, hips, and underarms. Silks are practiced barefoot, so please make sure you have clean feet! Please, no lotions or perfumes.
Please arrive a few minutes ahead of time so we can pack as much into classes as we can!
