They're shambling. They're funny. They're on fire. Ring of Steel Action Theatre presents their third annual Haunted House- the Show! It's got all the appeal of a haunted house without any of the walking! Guests are treated to fire dancing, circus acts, stunt work, and general silliness from the comfort of a chair in the audience. While this show is family friendly, it does contain loud noises, flashing lights, and nerdy humor.
The second half of the performance will feature some darker material, so parents of younger children should plan accordingly.
Celebrate Halloween and burn off a few calories in anticipation of your candy binge! Anyone who comes to KataFit wearing a costume gets to take the class free of charge!
KataFit combines swords and fitness for a whole-body workout that's a little off the beaten path. Learn real practice forms and perform them to music, wielding your choice of plastic, wood, or even steel. There's no fighting or sparring, just moving the sword through the air.
No experience is necessary. Sign ups are preferred but not required. Regular pricing is $12 for a drop in with packages available. KataFit runs every Tuesday and Thursday at 10am.
Enjoy a relaxing yoga class completely free of charge. It's a great opportunity for people who are new or relatively new to yoga to get some more practice, as well as for seasoned practitioners to enjoy a class at a price everyone can afford. All levels are welcome. Online registration is recommended for people who plan on borrowing props (mats, blocks, straps).
Diane Barbeau completed her YT200 at A2 Yoga in late 2015 and has been teaching continuously ever since. She currently offers classes at Ringstar Studio, The Health and Fitness Center at WCC, the University of Michigan, and Arbor Fit Club.
