Let me start out by telling you a short story, one that some of you have heard at least in part, and which has a happy ending:
Not too long ago we thought we were going to lose our lease at 3907 Varsity. At one point I even alerted all our instructors and friends that we were looking for a new home since we had been told that we were going to have to leave.
Fortunately, through an extremely fortunate series of events, we are happy to report that we will be staying put for the foreseeable future. Thank you to those who knew and offered support!
Now that we don’t have to worry about finding our little business out of a home, we can move onto our summer schedule. Due to students and staff alike having irregular calendars filled with things like irresistible summer days, catching up on socializing after a year spent apart, and going on vacations, we are offering mostly drop in classes through June and July. CHECK THE REGISTRATION SITE CAREFULLY. Some classes are only happening a few times in these two months while others will be taking place more regularly.
AIReal Yoga will have two three week series options starting mid June: Relax and Restore on Sundays at 5pm (watch out, that’s a new time), and introducing Power AIReal on Monday evenings 5:30-6:30. Find them under the Events tab of the registration site to book the whole series, or participate in just one or two classes by looking under the Classes tab (the default view you see when you click the link).
It’s a little late since she’s been here a few weeks already, but welcome back to Beth Bailey, who’s teaching our First Time Fliers class! She’ll be at the studio on Saturday mornings to teach our Beginning Aerial Silks drop in through June and July.
Open Fly on Sundays will now only have one time slot, from 6-8:30pm.
Finally, a word on COVID-19: we’re extremely excited about how many of our students have been getting their vaccines, but ultimately there’s no way to determine whether or not someone is really vaccinated. And while we want to believe that no one would lie about it, we’ve decided that the easiest and safest course of action is to continue to require mask wearing for the time being. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.
And thank you for making Ringstar a part of your great summer experience! See you in the air!
